Crușin (Buckthorn) Extract – In the past, in Romanian folk medicine, buckthorn was the most used product for unblocking intestinal transit, but also against parasites or hepatobiliary disorders. Currently, current studies confirm, at least in part, the ethnographic information, even adding new properties to the bark of this shrub 1 .
Ingredients/capsule:
- Dry hydroethanolic extract 4-7:1 (maltodextrin, silicon dioxide) from gooseberry bark (Rhamnus frangula) , with min. 15% glucofrangulin: 178.5 mg
- Buckthorn bark powder (Rhamnus frangula) : 171.16 mg
- essential oil of Mint (Mentha piperita) : 0.14 mg
- Fennel essential oil (Foeniculum vulgare) : 0.1 mg
- Anise essential oil (Pimpinella anisum) : 0.1 mg
- rice vegetarian capsule
How to administer Crușin (Buckthorn) Extract:
One capsule each, 2 times a day.
Physiological actions:
- supports intestinal peristalsis
- contributes to soft stools
- contributes to supporting healthy digestion and the normal functioning of the intestinal tract
- useful in case of flatulence and abdominal spasms
- supports digestion, supports the flow of digestive juice
Precautions Crușin (Buckthorn) Extract:
Consume with caution in cases of epilepsy.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in case of intestinal obstructions, ulcers or inflammatory bowel diseases, gallstones, biliary inflammations, biliary tract occlusions, serious liver diseases. Contraindicated to newborns and children under 3 years, pregnant (being emmenagogue) or breastfeeding women, women with mastosis, uterine fibroids and genital cancer (being estrogenic).
